Pumpkin Paintin Day 2010!
 

Don’t miss this great opportunity to display your artistic talents by participating in our special Pumpkin Paintin’ Day! (Oct 23, 2010)

Age makes no difference as you show everyone, whether you mean to or not, what you can do with a brush, a few different colors of paint, and of course, the All important PUMPKIN!  Let your imagination  go WILD as you transform that beautiful pumpkin into . . . whatever. And if the ol’ imagination is out for the day, just check some of the face painters who are on the grounds today and steal, I mean, borrow some ideas from them.

First, select whatever turns you on in the way of a pumpkin. Then go to it as we provide the brushes, paint, paper towels, and easel—really it’s a table. Children must have adult supervision. Use as much paint as you need and you must be able to account for your brushes. There is no time limit but do remember -we let our dogs out early on Saturdays.

There is a fee for this activity, with a pie pumpkin being less than a jack-o-lantern size.  

We look forward to seeing what kind of imagination you have, so don’t worry about talent-----just have FUN!
