"Sorry No Pets!"

A Fresh Start
 

At the time our goats were attacked, we were fortunate to have had some wonderful individuals come to their rescue and make every effort to save them. To this day, we can not imagine the horror they witnessed or the conditions they labored in. And of course, saying thank you is when you use only a few words to try to express so much gratitude.

Ms. Genni Cash was monitoring our animals while we were out of town and discovered what had happened. She immediately contacted Ms. Jerry Munns and together they made every effort to ease the suffering they found.  Ms. Munns called another friend, Ms. Judy Langley, to aid in caring and transporting to the vet those left alive. These ladies gave an entire day of their time helping our goats, which belonged to someone they hardly knew. And to this day they have accepted no compensation.  They have shed as many tears over this event as we.

A short time later, Ms. Munns kindly presented us with two loving Alpine goats to help get us back on tract and to give Holly the donkey some new friends. Things have since worked out great for all!

Of course, these new additions had to have names. Ummmmmmmmmmm, how about Jerry and Genni?! Votes were quickly counted, with no chads present, and finalized. So it is!

Look for these to happy, go-lucky girls when you are on the hayride. And rest assured that Holly will be close by.

(You might be interested to know it did not take long for them to learn which pockets carried the treats.)
